Northwood Neighbourhood Services is committed to providing meaningful experiential education opportunities to students from various fields such as social services, community justice, early childhood education and abused women and children’s advocacy.

We are proud to partner with Humber College, Seneca College, George Brown College, Sheridan College and York University to introduce students to community work.

Volunteers are an integral part of our organization. The work that we do would not be possible without the contributions of our volunteers. Whether you are a youth looking to complete your community service, a senior willing to contribute your skills and knowledge, or a newcomer looking for Canadian business experience, volunteering at Northwood Neighbourhood Services can be a fulfilling experience.

We believe in working together to provide our volunteers with a meaningful and rewarding introduction to community work. All volunteers are connected to a supervisor who will assist them to develop and implement a work plan.
