The Women’s Program provides a safe space for women to gather together and partake in a variety of activities aimed at fostering socialization and empowerment. They receive information on how to access information and services and learn about new ways of increasing self-confidence, building physical and mental strength, and reducing social isolation.
The program revolves around the “Cook & Talk” model, which allows women to share cultural recipes and life experiences while socializing and forming friendships and supports.
